Currently the Expert software is a revised version of the 2004 simulator. So, in this state it can easily be run on a PC.
The Expert also has the ability to switch to backup software running on a laptop.
However, since the important parts are the control surfaces I presume you are asking if there will be fader wings etc. Given the fact the desk internally is a dual-core intel running XP, this is quite possible from a software point of view but I cannot answer if there are any plans to manufacture peripherals to make it viable.
