SMPTE and Internal timecode
Is it possible to record a show using internal timecode and then sync that with external SMPTE at show time? I am working from home using a visualiser and don't have access to the equipment needed for external timecode. I am using a TT2. Thanks, Iain

Re: SMPTE and Internal timecode
Yes. You can pick which source a given timecode uses using the appropriate timecode window.
If you open "Timecode 1" for example, you have the choice of which timecode timer that source will use. Simply change it from "Internal" to "SMPTE" when you have the source available.

Oh, one more question. If the external source code has a leader on it, is it easy to shift the start time of the cue list globally? That was a clumsy way to ask that. Or it it easy to sync the start time, maybe a better way to put that. Thanks

Re: SMPTE and Internal timecode
The way to do this is to open playback view for the cuelist and hit the header of the Timecode column. That opens a menu that will allow you to offset every timecode time in the list by a given amount. There isn't really a global offset setting, per se.
