Editing Pixel Mapping Effects

Postby beef661 » 17 Oct 2020, 09:02

Hi All,
I've spent the last few weeks learning the Avolites Titan software on a Quartz desk - slowly trying to work my way into the 'doesnt suck' stage!

Apologies if this is a basic question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. When I use the 'Effect Editor' and create a pixel map effect, I then record this effect to one of the playback faders.
Once i've recorded this effect and exited the 'Effect Editor', how do I then go back and edit it? For instance if I would like to change the direction of the animation.

Thanks!

You can use the Include button to pull the information in a playback back into the programmer. You can then the open the Effects Editor window from the workspace shortcut or by the Edit Effect softkey in the Pixel Map menu. Once done press Record and merge back into the original playback.

Another option is to open the Playback View and then view the pixel map effect. You can then open up a grid view of all the settings in the effect and select the cells to edit them.
