Pearl Titan Expert - Sharpy Strob Issue

Postby SJPMC » 27 Jan 2018, 19:17

Hello,

So I'm running a show where the company responsible has about 16 7r Chinese knockoffs and I desire to record a playback fader that I can strob flash, so that I can hit it in the middle of the show (It's random strob across the 16 machines),

So the problem here is that whenever I hit the playback flash / raise the faster, the strob goes in but doesn't go back to open, it makes me go on the fixtures attributes and make the shutter open, how can I accomplish this?

Ps: show is tonight

Thanks in advance,

Try setting the playback release mask to include intensity.

I did, and instead of staying in the strob it goes into a slower strob rather than full intensity

Where relevant it will release to the level in the most recent active playback containing the control or, if there isn't one, to the locate value.

So either ensure that there is an active playback with these fixtures set to open or check the shutter locate.

Normally locate in the shutter controls will be 'open'. If it isn't you can update this by clearing the programmer, select one of the relevant fixtures, place shutter open in the programmer then RECORD/LOCATE/LOCATE.

This all assumes that the shutter control is assigned to the intensity group in the personality file. You could check this by placing just a strobe function in the programmer and recording a playback. The mask on the playback should have an 'I' indicator. If it isn't try setting the release mask to the one that it is (ie. C = Colour, G = gobo etc.)

Also you might need to adjust the release time to 0sec for an instant release. I don't know which version of Titan you are running - you can either set a master release time or (in 10.1) a playback release time.

Hello, so I've been playing with the 2010 and I found out of I turned merge on and fader mode 2 (there's no include nor exclude) it works fine, but when I try it on the Expert (even after updating the locate to non strobe) setting to exclude beam and dimmer it strobes but when I turn it down it goes into a slower strob rather than going into full open state

This is really important can someone help me?
