I too am having issues with the pearl and it crashing.
EVERY TIME I use one it crashes, if not for one reason another.
For example when I use the faders to pick up the generics, it doesn't output, I have to restart the desk and try again.
Sometimes I pick up a sub, and it doesn't output, so I restart the desk and try again (MID SHOW).
Its becoming tedious, and it often re-occurring.
Its not the same desk, it happens invairably with most peoples desks.
Will AVO ever improve the software on the Pearls, as I am going out of my way to avoid them at the moment...
Pearls crashing

The software is constantly being improved and bugs are fixed, but obviously you should make sure desks are running the latest.
These sort of vague comments are precisely the reason bugs don't get fixed. Please provide some sort of useful details regarding a problem so at least it can be checked out.
I only know of a few very minor and obscure bugs and have no problems whatsoever and I DO go out of my way to find them! NEVER crashes. NEVER have to restart desk. So I suggest either the desk(s) have hardware faults or is operator error.
In my experience nearly every criticism I have ever heard from an LD about something not working correctly has turned out to be misunderstanding/bad programming of the desk.
