Fixture library update issue

I have a major problem with what goes on when updating the fixture library on the Pearl Expert console (or any other titan software for that matter). Why does the installer programme have to delete the older personality files? Can the programme not update only the new ones, without wiping pre-existing personalities that I (or any other user) would have installed on the console?

I find it very irritating when I have to install some personalities over and over just because the personality update programme deletes the files.

User installed or modified personalities should be saved on the D: drive in the folder "personalities" on consoles and in the user folder on the PC Suite this folder is not changed when updating personalities .
