Saving workspaces

Postby yyy898 » 24 Jul 2016, 15:27

Hi,
except the 12 dedicated workspace locations is there in titan V10 another place to store your workspaces ?
I need more than 12, in V9 you could save them in the macros window but this doesnt seem possible anymore in V10

A few options:

- Depending on console you can use the macro/executor buttons (if the console doesn't have the physical buttons you could still use the Static Playbacks window).
- Grey preset buttons on the Pearl Expert or it's equivalent 'Groups and Palettes' workspace.
- Unlimited unassigned shortcuts. These could be recalled via the Show Library (filtered to just workspaces and unassigned if required) or numerically - ie. View 1 <enter> (or softkey A) recalls workspace shortcut 1.

Of those options I personally would either use numeric or perhaps the 'Groups and Palettes' workspace if I wasn't actually using a Pearl Expert.

The Groups and Palettes workspaces are technically pageable too although we seem to have mislaid the buttons somewhere along the way. However a bit of work on the xml macros will get you there. I think it' might even be possible to have a page up/down method but don't quote me on it.

Hopefully in the future it will be possible to allow pages and/or a separate dedicated 'Views' window.
