Refresh Thumbnails over CITP

Postby Erc » 01 Feb 2016, 14:53

Hi everybody, I have a question is there a way the refresh CITP so my thumbnails are updated? I have a Tiger Touch in a club and the the thing is that there are new visuals added every week.
I have built a mediaserver for my customer and it runs Arkaos Media Master pro. I patched it via Active Fixture which is working perfect (had some issues with earlier Titan releases and CITP) .
But the problem is that the new added visuals are not added to my thumbnails? In a Hog there is a button that says "refresh CITP" but I can't find it in the Tiger Touch or Titan One?

Any help would be appreciated, cheers
Eric

Try the Update Personality function from the Patch menu.

Doesn't work, even when I delete te fixture and patch it again via the "Active Fixture" option, the thumbnails are not refreshed. The visual directory name is updated but the files and thumbs are not.

I had a chat with another user about exactly this just yesterday. One of the parts of the saga is that the CITP service caches the thumbnails (or something along these lines). I found that stopping and restarting the CITP service often helps, as I described in my CITP howto a couple of years back. In current Titan versions, the service is called "Avolites CITP". Hence, you might try opening a command prompt and issue these two commands:

Code: Select all

net stop "Avolites CITP"
net start "Avolites CITP"
