Problem with Upgrade to V9

Postby Sabre88 » 22 Sep 2015, 19:00

Today I upgrade my console from V7.4 gradually to 8 last to 8.1 everything it was fine.
When I tried to upgrade the console from V8.1 to V9.0, following the required procedure and latest step don´t work.

- Download recovery creator to PC
- Place Usb stick in PC and launch creator
- Select Usb stick as destination and leave 'format' ticked
- Start the creator (I had to disable Anti Virus)
- Once complete (took approx 13 mins in my test) remove stick and place in console
- Power up console and enter BIOS
- Change boot so 1st Device is 'Usb Device'
- F10/Y to save/exit
- After a few minutes you should see a screen asking if you want to perform standard or full erase
- Choose 'Standard' to retain showfiles and license
- Accept T&C and enter console serial number to complete
- After another few minutes remove stick when prompted and select restart
- Enter BIOS and change 1st boot device back to 'Hard Disk'
- F10/Y to save/exit and begin installation
-Once complete console will automatically restart with Titan

After latest restart don´t boot system. After the announcement boot texts shows calculation "0-999 Please wait ..." and this text shows several times. and on external LCD monitors only black screen without any text.

I can tryit Full Erase install? Now i try Standart.

I would suggest trying it again. If you don't need to preserve showfiles or any custom personalities then full erase ideally. May also be worth downloading recovery and creating the stick again first although seems unlikely it would get all the way through the process if there was a fault in the installer.
