I am running the RC of Version 9 on pic with Titan Mobile and a wing. When I connect my remote to the show, it sees the desk and gets the show... But then it gets weird.
Names of palettes take a bit to come up, and you can't select groups. You can select fixtures themselves, but locate and hi light are wack. The result is the same on iOS as well as Android.
I realize the remote is a different version. Just wondering what the expected wait is for a fix for that. It's really the only thing that I seem to run into on V9 that really manifests any issues. For me, at least. I've used V9 for two weeks of shows thus far, and I would prefer not to have to revert to v8 to get the remote back.
Any insight on a workaround is much appreciated!

Re: Titan remote not working with V9
Here's a related reply someone at Avo made to another post (on April 6th) :
If you absolutely need the iPhone remote in a very near future you'll have to downgrade.
Note : if you have some troubles after downgrading to V8, install the latest version of USB expert on top of your V8 install.
The other option you have is to use another laptop running Titan Simulator, networked to the desk (in a multi-user Titan session) via a Wifi router.
Works like a charm once it's correctly configured - and is much better than a remote if you don't need a pocketable solution, imo.
We are restricted by some of the rules of Apple regarding the phone app, as a result we can’t have different versions under the same app name.
Now we have discussed this recently and are planning to release the V9 remote under a different name which allows us to keep both the V8 AND V9 app available.
This also solves the issue that people with automatic IPhone update would potentially lose their V8 app even though they are on V8 with their consoles.
We will submit this week and then we will have to wait for Apple to do their thing…

Re: Titan remote not working with V9
In response to the message by Quidam: They say Apple has some issues regarding multiple versions of the same application. Do these restrictions also apply to Android devices? Or is it possible for the Avo guys to just publish the .apk file for the V9 remote?
