Titan V.9 Quick build bug

Postby dejlig.person » 06 Apr 2015, 07:16

When I try to do a quick build (chase or cuelist), only the last step is recorded as a single cue. Also in versions 7.x and 8.x the quick build function didn't record the selected fixture order.

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this. I have tried a number of tests.

(all from a new show in v9.0 RC)

Test 1:

- Manually select fixtures in a specific order
- Change colour mix values
- Record playback by channel
- Repeat so that we have three playbacks with three different colours and fixture orders
- Edit times for each playback 2sec fade, 50% overlap (so we can visualise the fixture order)
- Quick build a cuelist from the three playbacks
- Replay cuelist

= three cues with the three separate colours which fade in using the fixture order set.

Test 2:

- Same as above with chase but before playing back chase set chase playback overlap to 50% (chases have a 'global' overlap that defaults to 100%)

= three steps with the three separate colours which fade in using the fixture order set.

Test 3:

- Record some colour palettes
- Create a group with a specific fixture order
- Select group and quick build a cuelist using the colour palettes
- Edit times for all cues to 2sec fade in, 50% overlap
- Replay cuelist

= three cues with the three separate colours which fade in according to the order set in the group.

Test 4:

- Record some colour palettes with times (2sec fade, 50% overlap)
- Create a group with a specific fixture order
- Select group and quick build a cuelist using the colour/time palettes
- Replay cuelist

= three cues with the three separate colours which fade in over 2 sec according to the order set in the group.

If you can post detailed steps to repeat the problem I will investigate further.
