V.8 shape in cue list bug? And more..

Postby FranzTheSaint » 16 Oct 2014, 08:51

Not really serious issues, but nevertheless..:-)

Has anyone succeeded to delete a recorded shape in a cue list?

I´m doing exactly what the manual says, include the shape so it get´s in the programmer, select the shape, press delete, enter - no result. I can edit it, like turn the speed & size down to zero, but not remove it completely. Wouldn´t it be better if you could just click it in the cue view and press delete rather than the include-way?

If i choose my cue list fader to work as a crossfader, the Go-button no longer works. It said it would in the release notes? That´s the main Go-button, i use the black fader key as go-back.

Any ideas?

To delete a shape from a playback:
  • Open the Playback View window for the playback (e.g. by pressing the display above the fader or pressing View then the playback swop).
  • Scroll up/down to find the cue and scroll across to the View Shape column.
  • Click on the button in the View Shape column (it will either be labelled with the shape name or ... if there is more than one shape).
  • In the Shape View window there is a list of all the shapes in the cue and their parameters that can be edited.
  • Press the Delete button and press on the name of the shape you wish to delete.
  • Confirm the deletion by pressing softkey A or Enter.
When you use Include you are making a copy of the cue information in the programmer thus any changes you make will not effect the original cue unless you record back into it. If you want to remove a shape this way you would have to select Replace instead of Merge (or double tapping) when recording to ensure the original information in the cue is cleared before the new information is added.
