leaving disks in drives during transit...

I seem to remember that on some older disk drives that don't park, it's advisable not to leave disks in....

Sometimes, ok most times, I forget to take my show backup out. Do Avo use drives that park?

Am I risking damaging the heads?

I'll re phrase my question...

Is it ok to leave a disk in the drive, while the desk is in transit?
