I've seen in the manual that Titan Mobile can be "triggered" with DMX from other sources, and use other Titan consoles as back-ups. But I've seen nothing on Titan Mobile acting as a trigger. Can the Titan Mobile trigger cues, etc. on other Avolites boards; the Azure 2000 to be precise?
Thanks,
Bryan

That depends on the capability of the other board. The Azure cannot be triggered by DMX so no.
Re: Titan Mobile and Other Avolites Boards
Darn. That would have been great. But, can the TM be triggered by the Azure? The Stage Ape Hamsters still don't work quite right on the TM, but worked perfectly with the Azure 2000. I'm considering the use of both boards and how I might connect and configure them.

Yes, the Azure sends out DMX and the TM can be triggered by DMX.
If the personality isn't working correctly then please provide exact details as to what is wrong.

Re: Titan Mobile and Other Avolites Boards
I've finally got the chance to hook all the Hamsters up and test them (I had to wait until the previous sermon series was over). I did a quick test when I first got the new personality and thought it was working, but when I had time to really test them, I soon found out there were still some problems. Dimmer doesn't work on either mode. In Mode 1, the Color Macro controls the color and turns it off & on (Safe turns it off). In Mode 2, it is controlled by the Color Mixer & I have to use the Saturation slider to dim on & off and I also have to pick the colors from the very top edge of the color gradient screen to keep it from pulsing, even though Pulse is not selected in the Strobe function. I can make it work (barely), but without full functionality.

Re: Titan Mobile and Other Avolites Boards
As for the Azure 2000, it can be triggered by MIDI and remote-controlled by RS232 through the MIDI Connection (with the MIDI-to-RS232 cable). So, couldn't I control both boards through MIDI and/or remote RS232 commands? Ideally, I'd like to be able to select a cue on TM and be able to fire the cue on TM and also fire a particular cue or chase on the Azure 2000 from one button press. I understand that it may not be possible in that way, but maybe I could use MIDI to trigger both? I would like to be able to, for example, run a chase on the Azure that is in-sync with what's going on the TM.

Re. Stage Ape Hamster:
There are two modes. These are named '7 DMX, 8bit' and '7 DMX, alt'.
'7 DMX, 8bit' contains the original channel mapping order which matches the one shown on the manufacturers website.
'7 DMX, alt' is an alternative mapping requested and based on the information provided by yourself. You were unable to clarify the purpose (or existence) or the 6th and 7th channel offsets in this configuration so they were left as basic raw 0-255 ranges, defaulting at zero.
All the channels and functions within match those shown on the manufacturers website with the exception of colour macro which was also modified in response to and based on the information provided by yourself.
Additionally I added a raw 0-255 range to both the shutter and colour macro channels just in case the functions were still wrong.
I was confident that the work done previously where you patched individual dimmers confirmed everything was now correct. It's very difficult for me to do anything more without really accurate information, preferably proper charts from the manufacturer including details on the different revisions. Failing that, patch as dimmers, open DMX view and make a spreadsheet that details what each channel does and, where applicable (ie. shutter and colour macro) the precise DMX ranges for functions within a channel. This needs to be done for each 'mode'.
Re. Triggering:
The TM does not send out MIDI so it cannot trigger the Azure. Both the Azure and the TM can be triggered by MIDI so an external device could control them both in sync. This needs to be proper MIDI (as opposed to Usb). Sounds rather complicated to me though.

Re: Titan Mobile and Other Avolites Boards
I'll be there on Sunday and I'll check it out. As for the MIDI triggering, we may do some from a MIDI keyboard in the future. Nice to know what I can do with the Azure, too. Now I know I can trigger one or the other, or both. It gives me more universes as well.
Thanks again,
Bryan

Didn't have time to check it out on Sunday, but I'm going in tomorrow and I'll do it then.
