Huge problem Avolites Pearl 2008

Hello my dear,

I am working for the company Soundforce Scandinavia AB in Sweden.

Currently we have a huge problem with our Avolites Pearl 2008.

When running the shows the desk shut down and then restart, about five minutes later the same thing happens and at the third time it happens the desk shuts down and do not restart at all. The desk does not start in about five minutes at all.

The problem appears random.

Please what is the problem?

Need help as soon as possible.

This sounds like a hardware problem, possibly power supply. Before looking in the console check simple things like quality of local power and cables. Try taking power from a different source and try new power cables, including any distribution.

Next open console and check all connections are good.

If that does not solve the problem then I think you need to speak to people in service directly. There is an emergency 24hr phone number on the website contact page.

We have had the problem at 4 different places with different cables and different Local Power, så probably not the problem.

The Power supply has once been broken, so it is almost a New Power supply unit. But maybe it is the problem. Last time the Power supply crashed the desk did not start more at all.

Anyone else that had the first problem i talked about?

This may sound wacky, but stand the desk on its side and hit the bottom a few times... sometimes screws come loose and work their way under the mother board and create all sorts of havoc.

Lol! No, I had a board that would suddenly turn off. Turned out to be a screw that had fallen inside the power supply which would short to case.
