Expert Preset Faders A+B Indicators

Postby BeachLD » 07 Aug 2013, 00:20

Hi Everyone,
I'm relatively new to my Pearl Expert (Titan 6.1) so please excuse this possibly basic question... What do the "A" and "B" red indicator lights next to the rows of preset faders mean? Why do I ask? Until now, I'd never seen one lit. Just had a guest LD who's programming has lit up the "A" indicator. The only difference that I can see is that firing the fader on that row won't put the channel into the programmer.
Any more illumination would be helpful!
Cheers,
Mark

I don't think they have much function any more. I can't remember what they did in Classic but they might have mimicked preset master level, for example when using in two-preset mode.

In Titan 'A' will light continuously if the wing is connected so I suspect that is what you were seeing.
Preset faders don't enter the programmer when the console is in run mode.
