Master faders - TM

Hi ,
is it possible to control master fader with external MIDI/DMX controller ?
I see that i can assign master fader to playback fader but midi trigger don't work.
Master faders can also assign to a playback (don't know why), so it should be graeat if I can control master fader with external controller without assign it to a playback fader

I haven't tried myself, but since you can level-control playbacks on touch buttons via MIDI, I'd assume this goes for Master functions on buttons, too. So: assign it to a touch button, and define a MIDI trigger for this. Make sure you set 'Trigger Type: Item' and 'Trigger Function: Set Level'.

Thisi is the same i try to do...
Trigger type item, set level but it is not possible to select the playback with master fader .

It's true, you currently can't. You can have them on the mobile but nowhere else. But you can make your playback to be triggered controllable on the external fader. Look at edit times and make it mode 2, also look at playback options and make it size / speed on fader. Then create your trigger to external fader. It will behave as its own customizable old style mode 2 cue. I believe you can then make it controlled by either the rate grand master or each of the other rate masters from the mobile. I.E rate master 1 equals all pan/tilt. Rate master 2 is all color. Etc.
