Titan Mobile + WYSIWYG

Postby tom10293 » 20 Jun 2013, 23:44

Hi Guys,
Quick question. I currently own a Pearl Expert and use it to do all pre production work on WYSISYG. Now, in anticipation for the days when we can network two consoles together for backup ect in thinking of getting a Titan Mobile. The thing I want to know is, can you send art-net to WYSIWYG's Artistic licence device off the same computer running the Titan Software or would I need another machine?? Would just make doing any changes in hotel rooms and on the go that bit easier than digging out the whole console.

Thanks in advance.

It will work on the same machine. Usually it is recommended that you don't install anything other than Titan on a machine to avoid any potential conflicts when running a show but if it's essentially a backup I would say it's less of a risk.

Excellent! So, I presume console networking is somewhere in the pipeline? Don't worry, i'm not going to ask when. I know the answer to that

I think it's good to have an air of mystery. It's more exciting.

La la la...
