Titan Mobile & keyboard issues

Postby bethreyes » 20 Jan 2013, 17:35

Has anyone else been experiencing issues with the keyboard on your laptop not responding randomly? I can't seem to pinpoint an exact cause of the keyboard not working - but is a big issue when trying to set legends. The (sometimes) fix is to toggle caps lock on and/or pulling up virtual keyboard in the Titan software. FYI, not the laptop as I can type consistently in Word, notepad, etc. Running Titan v6

Usually this is an application focus issue. When it doesn't work try left-clicking somewhere in the Titan window.

The only program running was Titan, and left & right clicking anywhere did nothing to bring the keyboard back. I will keep my eye on the task manager the next time it happens, to see if something else is trying to run.

Focus could just be on Windows Explorer. If it isn't working after clicking on a Titan window then try pressing the break key.

Try clicking on the title bar at the top of the Titan Mobile window as this will always focus the application. Note that pressing the Break key will temporarily disable keyboard input to Titan until the softkey menu is changed.

A sure fire way to fix this (in my experience) is to click on the 2nd screen and then again on the main screen. Your keyboard should again work like normal.
