Hello,
My goal is to setup my Tiger Touch to be able to use a Catalyst media-server.
Can someone give me instructions on how to setup the console?
Regards,

Where eactly is the problem?
- connect the Catalyst via DMX or Art-Net
- probably enable DMX control within Catalys (I must admit I don't habe a Catalyst - but this question is better answered in a Catalyst forum, I guess - try this: http://chaldee1.gotadsl.co.uk/~richardb ... /index.php)
- patch the required layers on your console (manufacturer High End)
Please know that the Catalyst doesn't support CITP, thus you cannot display the thumbnails on the console.

Hm, good information on mediaservers... this is a rather general question. I suggest you start your search at the respective manufacturers. In particular, the implementation of DMX/Art-Net control is only one small item in your decision pro or con a mediaserver.
In general, most nowadays mediaservers can be controlled via DMX and/or Art-Net. Also in general, please be aware that usually the DMX layout might change from one version to another - please don't blame this on Avolites! And, from experience I'd say the way how you like to program the mediaserver might greatly differ between any two operators - quite often it's the best way to write a custom personality for your own likings.
As far as I know, CITP (thumbnail) support works with the following models (again, this might depend from the very version):
- Hippotizer
- Screen Monkey
- Robe Digital Spots
- AI server
- Coolux Pandoras Box
- ArKaos MediaMaster
- Madrix
Other well-known servers (no CITP) are e.g. the Martin Maxedia, Highend Catalyst, D3, Picturall, and many more. And of course the MA VPU is a mediaserver, too - but you'd better ask questions about this elsewhere
<edit>
Furthermore, there are more special tools, like vvvv, Resolume Avenue and others, which fall under the term 'mediaserver'. But if you use such a thing, DMX/Art-Net usually needs to be activated via a separate module, and is definitely one of your least concerns.
And finally, there are some more simple media players. There is also one player for Mac based platforms (sorry, I forgot the name) - it's in the personality library!
</edit>
If I may be of more help, you are welcome to send me an e-mail.
