Thank you, it works now! I have another question: when I call the group, it calls the group and not the location. I want it to call the location instead. How can I do that?

I'm not sure if I follow your question, please explain further if neither of the points below are helpful.

If you mean that you want to recall a group based on its handle location instead of its user number you can use:

Code: Select all

Group.RecallGroup(location:("Groups", 1))

Generally if you recall a group the fixtures will be positioned based on the order or X/Y position that they are in group, selection orders will then use the location in the programmer when stepping through fixtures (this will depend on what Direction is set to in the pattern selection menu under All/Odd/Even button). This will also be used when applying timed palettes using a fixture overlap.

Thanks, I’m going to try that. The thing I want to reach is that I recall, like per fixture type, a group. And when I move that group and turn on the macro, I want the fixtures I moved to be out of my bump. End when i move them back en turn on de macro i want them to be in de bump.
I hoop you get what i mean

Hi, I tried the macro, but it didn’t work. Are there any other options or another way to achieve the same result?

I mistyped the name, Group.RecallGroup is what I meant.

Hi, it works now, but when I move the group, it doesn’t take any updates when I press another Bump color, which is good. However, it still remembers the last Bump presets, and I want it to be clean so that it doesn’t retain any. This way, I can decide that I want my spots and washes to Bump, but I don’t want my beams to Bump. What can i change to fix that?
