Easy way for spreaded Colour Chase/CL

Hello all,
A Odd/Even Colour chase is not that hard to do by chase or cue-list, but when having a lot of fixtures and to do a spreaded colour chase or you want to be able to change the spread on the fly, it gets a little more complicated.
Ofcourse you can do it with the key frame shaper, but that is where my problem starts.
I want to do all of my "chases" by Wait for Go, because I busk shows for live bands and not all of them keep the tempo consistent, so connecting them to a BPM master is not ideal.
The problem is that the Key Frame shaper has no "wait for go" function (or I missed this function). Is there anothere economical way to achieve this? I know I can do this by Cue List or Chase, but this is much more time consuming. Maybe by macro or something?
