So i have a show coming up in a few months at a venue that has a tiger touch 1 running version 8.1. My issue is that nothing made in the shape generator can be saved to a fader.

I follow the steps listed in the manual. I tried saving by channel, fixture and stage - neither work.

FX channel isn't highlighted after i record it to a fader, so it's not a playback issue - it just refuses to record anything in the FX channel.

Old playbacks that other people have made have FX saved and work as intended.

Maybe a record mask is set, and Auto Reset Mask is disabled?

Press Record, then look for the menu button 'Set Mask'. Click it and see what it shows.

Also, try to start a new show, patch some fixtures, and record some shapes there. Does this work?
