HTP and LTP fader problem

Postby htevents » 24 Dec 2018, 15:23

Hello all,

Couldn''t find it that fast on this forum, but I want the following: I have a cue on a fader playback containing a dimmer value, position and a shutter (strobo) value. I want the playback to behave like this:
When fired, the fixtures should snap to the position and the dimmer (HTP channel) should be at full immediately and the shutter value (strobe speed) should be controlled by the position of the fader.

I can''t find a way to do it, because or the dimmer is controlled or the strobe speed, but then the position fades to with the fader position.

I don't know this is exactly what you want. But I think it would do similar.
Make a two step cuelist
First Cue : Record dimmer 100% and position
Second Cue : Autoload "Strobe Cue" and the cuelist's "Link" option "After Previous" checked.

Strobe Cue : Record only strobe and make the cue mode 2.

creative use of key frame shapes:
- record dimmer and position as a key frame shape with only one frame (you can record both intensity and position into the same frame). Record strobe the "regular" way.
- set your playback to mode 2 (for the strobe to fade) and shape size to fixed (for position and intensity to snap). Shape speed doesn't matter as it's only one frame

You are the best, the keyframe shapes are more functional than I thought haha.
