Questions about Playback fader pages

Normally on the left of the virtual faders you can select the pages with an up and down button.
For some reason disappeard those buttons. It's all greyscaled and no page numbers are shown.
The only thing I can do is press in the middle and enter the page manually to jump to that page.
Any idea what I have changed by mistake?

Furthermore I'd like to have the playbacks fix on their page instead of active playback remain on the front page.
When I active a playback on page 2 and go back to page 1 the active playback on page 2 appears on page 1, while the original playback chase on page 1 cannot be seen.
Is it possible to change this?

Perhaps you are in set list mode? You can change this by touching the middle of the page area and then toggle between normal and set list mode on softkey B in the 'Goto Playback Page' menu.

For the second question set playback paging to 'Never Hold' in User Settings/Handles.

Indeed, I enabled Set List mode.
Changed to never hold and it works now as I want.
