Merge or Append two chases into one chase

Postby kimwida » 20 Apr 2017, 14:09

Hi, there!
I need to merge very long two chases into one.
Is there any easy way to merge or append two chases to one chase??
This problem came from changing chases in a cuelist.
When I make a song cuelist I put cues and chases in autoload of the cuelist.
And sometimes I need to change one of the chases which recur many times in the cuelist to other chase.
Simple way is to record old chase to new chase. It's ok when the chase has a few steps but if it has many steps, it's so tedious.
So if there's quick way to merge two chases, I could merge two chases and delete old chase part from it.

If there are a lot of cues using syntax may help you. For example to delete all the cues from a chase or cue list, make sure it is connected to the wheels (Connect/Cue followed by the playback button) and then enter the command:
DELETE CUE 1 THRO 1000
Where CUE is the Connect/Cue button and THRO is the Through button. You can use any two cue numbers for the range, I have put 1000 as this will normally be greater than any cue in the playback.

Copying and moving cues is very similar although you don't need to have a playback connected:
COPY PLAYBACK 1 CUE 1 THRO 1000 @ PLAYBACK 2
Where PLAYBACK 1 is entered by pressing the playback button. If omitted the CUE and @ symbol will be automatically inserted for you.
