I made a random dimmer chase using playback options' play order to random.

And I found that if I make it with dimmer key frame, it will be more useful.

But I couldn't make the key frame to be random.

Any advice??

Try setting the direction to random (represented by two lines that cross over). This is not truly random but it generates a random order each time it is selected which will then be used for the spread.
