Sometimes, one of my old led moving head is out of order in a show.

Especially, color led chips break down and it looks ugly with other moving heads.

I tried it "off" but when I hit the "clear" it came back.

How can I turn it down in the middle of a show??

I found "frozen" from patch view.

'Freeze fixture' is exactly what you are looking for: set the fixture to a state where it doesn't disturb your show (i.e dimmer closed, no visible/audible movements), and freeze it, either in the patch view or the patch menu:
- Patch
- Edit Fixture
- Freeze Fixture or Attribute
- Select the fixture
- Freeze Fixture
- Exit the patch menu
