Setting instant mode

Postby kimwida » 12 Nov 2016, 18:19

When I use Pear Tiger, I can set a channel instant mode in "Patch Utilities".

But I can't find it in Titan.

Only personality builder??

There is no equivalent function in Titan. In Titan this behaviour is defined at a function level in the personality.

The problem is

When I run a color fading chase, then strobing cue that I made it flash button keyprofile.

When I release strobing cue, the strobing is fading!!!

I just want instant strobing stop.

It works in using two palettes.

But I want it on one flash button.

The default global release time is 2s. You can change this via Release/[Master Release Time] or set a local release time per playback via [Playback Options]/[Release]/[Release Time].

It sometimes works and sometimes not.

Let's say my color chase changes color Red, Green and Blue.

My chase speed is 2.4 seconds and the stobe flash cue has release time "0".

While running the color chase, if I push the strobe cue in the color chase of Red color step and release it in Red color step(within 2.4 sec), it works instant strobe stop.

But if I push the strobe cue in the color chase of Red color step and release it in Green step(over 2.4 seconds), it didn't works.

It fades strobe until Green step finish.

Have you set the Release Mask of the Strobe flash cue? By default playbacks will not release any channels you can change the release mask in Playback Options. Without the release mask set it is likely that it is the chase is setting the shutter back to open following its cross fade time.

I found my mistake.

I made the color chase with a color and dimmer 100%.

That was the problem.

New color chase without dimmer works fine.
