A co Avolites user called me yesterday afternoon and told me that he’s Titan one is not picking up on the software. So I jumped on TeamViewer to help out. When I went into his DMX Settings, I found noting (picture attached) and the DMX lines did not come up. I did ask him on how he got to this situation and he told me the following.
He was always on V9.1 and it worked perfectly. He then went to V10 where it also worked, but the computer was very slow. So he uninstalled v10 and reinstalled v9.1 and this is the result that he got in the DMX settings.
I then decided to replicate the problem (to find a solution) by taking a completely separate machine with a separate dongle that had V9.1 on, loaded V10 on and then uninstall V10 and install v9.1 again and the exact same thing happened. I then Decided to load V10 on again and there was still nothing in DMX settings. So at this moment that dongle is not useable on that machine, doesn’t matter what I do
Please note (more info) : During this whole process I was keeping an eye on the USB Expert Console and nothing changed there and when I uninstalled v10 (meaning the T1 is visable there) , and reinstalled v9.1, it did not ask me for a licence file. During this whole process, the RX light was flickering.

Re: Very Urgent Problem with DMX Settings, Please Help!
We had a similar issue - installed V10, dongle was not detected. Uninstalled V10, installed V9.1, still no dongle.
Fresh install of V9.1 on a new machine, dongle works just fine.

The problem you describe is interesting because I was about to upgrade V9.1 to V10 on a backup laptop that may possibly not be up to the job. I posted a question that asked how easy would it be to revert to V9.1 if V10 does not run well on the laptop. After seeing your problem, I may stick with V9.1 on that machine for now unless your problem is resolved by a helpful person.
Sorry I have not helped you but you may well have helped me avoid a potential disaster.
I have found that the Avolites guys are very helpful with programming issues and have always received good/helpful answers to my programming/software use queries. However, answers to software/PC issues are less forthcoming - probably because this is a bit of a minefield to deal with.
