Playback fader

Apologies is this is something been asked before or so simple.

I am looking to have all my dimmers on separate playback faders (This show will only be 6), I have recorded all these and work fine but I would also like a fader that can turn all 6 on or off which i can record them all on and add to a fader but is there away that it can over ride all current dimmer faders that are on, so when all dimmer fader is on then off it turns all the dimmers off when if one of the individual dimmers is still set.

The only way I can think of to do this would be to record a group master of the six dimmers to a playback fader and set it to takeover. Once the group master fader reaches the level of a dimmer from another playback it will go into the programmer. Now that it's in the programmer it will take precedence and go to zero when the group master is lowered. However, in order to regain control of the individual playbacks you would have to press clear.
