"Clear" won't clear programmer

I have the mask set to clear all attributes, Clear all selected fixtures, clear all programmers.

When I select lights and change a gobo and color...then press clear, nothing happens

what am I doing wrong?

edit: ok after more playing around. Clear will clear the values but not the output.
I have also tried "off" "selected fixtures off" with not change

This is working correctly. All attributes other than dimmer are LTP (latest takes precedence). By default clear will remove any controls from the programmer and deselect fixtures but will not change values (other than dimmer where applicable). By enabling the clear option [Release to Playback Values] clear will cause relevant values to return to the those in the most recently fired active playback.
