Hi,
Just got a Titan One and starting to program. Mostly for festivals/shows with bands I don't know. So the most flexible setup is preferred. I am used to using a Hog or GrandMA2.

Right now I have a few LEDs set up and I have a playback button page built with colors. I am trying to figure out how to adjust the timing of the playback. I have set all of the color cues to Rate Master 1. Fader 10 is the Rate 1 Master. It seems like this should work, however it is not.
I have the fade of the cues set to 10 seconds. I have tried a few fader modes.
I do not get the result I expect. When the fader is down I would like the color to snap immediately, when the fader is all the way up it should take 10 seconds to fade, halfway up 5 seconds etc.

basically I am getting a 10 second fade or no fade at all.

Also, when I got from one color to another, every cue button I have used remains white, like it is active. How do I get them to release so the next time I press it, it plays (currently I have to hit it twice, once to turn it off and once to turn it on again.)

The rate masters only apply to speed (for example chase or effect). There is currently no way to master fade times but hopefully it will be possible in the future.

To fire a playback multiple times you need to set the key profile to [Go]. Currently the handle will still remain lit after it is fired the first time but otherwise it will function as you describe.

Have you considered using palettes instead? These can include timings and/or have times applied live numerically. There is also a master palette time which can, in turn, but set via macros assigned to handles should you wish. Additionally, palettes can be applied to fixture selections for more flexibility.

I guess I can set up pafs of playback buttons where page one is a 1 second fade and page 10 is a 10 second fade. That would do what I want as well.

So do most people just use pallets for busking?

I can't say for certain but I would imagine so. Certainly that's how I have always done it when busking on Avolites consoles over that last 20 years and it works very well for me.
