Hi, Excuse my ignorance but I am a novice and am still working through the manual. I am intending to use TitanOne while DJing and therefore would like to store some favourite scenes. I have created a spiral move with rotating colourwheel and saw chopped dimmer. I have saved this onto fader channel 1. I then created another look much the same but with the dimmer on constant at 100% and saved this to channel 2.
If I switch on (with the mouse) channel 2 it works as expected. If I then switch on channel 1 the light output swaps to SAW effect. If I do it the other way round and switch on channel 1 then switch on channel 2, the light ouput stays in SAW effect. I have spent literally hours trying to find out why to no avail. Can someone help on this and also let me know if storing looks on fader channels is the best way to do things. I would like simply to be able to switch between cues and have everything change to the next look. I hope I have described this well enough for someone to understand. I have tried various playback settings but none appear to solve the issue.

You could add a block shape to the 2nd playback which will effectively stop the shape from the 1st if it is fired while the 1st is active. Or, if you wanted to just step through various 'looks' in sequence then you could use a cuelist in a single playback where pressing GO would advance to the next.

Thanks for that. I will give it a try. Regarding the cue list, I will probably want to choose scenes from different fader channels in a more random fashion depending on circumstances at the time. Therefore I would like each new recall of a fader channel to overrule all attributes of the previous one. What would be the best way to achieve this? The other thing I am still trying to get to grips with is how I would set up a button/fader so that when activated, a group of lights white strobe and then when deactivated, carry on as they were. At present I am unsure of the best approach, although I am sure it will become obvious as I learn.
I am using a touchscreen + mouse as controls.
Many thanks in advance for any help.

It sounds like what you really need is a setup where selecting a playback kills the previous one so that only one is active at a time. While there is nothing specifically built-in yet to do this it is possible with a bit of work. See
here for details.
For solo white strobe one way is to program the white strobe playback and set it to release intensity and colour (via Playback Options). Another way is to set the playback to mode 2 via Edit Times. Both methods have pro's and con's.
If you're using the playbacks workspace and touching everything then you would probably also want to make a key profile with a flash action for touching cues and assign it to the playback (also via Playback Options) so that it was only momentary when held, as opposed to latching.

Hi Nic, Thanks for the last update. I have had a look at "here" and although a bit confusing when read in isolation, I think I get the jist of it. I will give it a try. I am getting confused with masks. There appears to be a mask setting when recording cues or chases and another in playback options. When I recently recorded a chase of cells on a Cameo Pixbar it only worked if I set the record mask to I and C. Otherwise I got no light output. When I have recorded cues, I am sure I have left all attributes excluded and the cue still works. Does this sound correct? Is there a tutorial or info that explains masks in detail and how they work and their result in different senarios?

Masks should be covered in the manual.
When recording they will filter out what is recorded. For example if you have intensity and colour in the programmer but you record a cue or palette with the mask set to include colour then only colour will be recorded.
The mask in playback options relates to release.
Each has their own programming style and the software provides many ways to work to suit. You may find it easier to leave the record masks set to include all, then use record by channel mode and be very specific about what is in the programmer.
