usb dongle is running dmx but lights not responding

i have installed the avolites pc suite v9.1 and i have plugged the donle in and opened up the titan software i have gone to dmx settings and put the dmx output into line one theis has made my dongle light up green to say it is outputting dmx however when i have patched a fixture which is an ledj slimline 7q5 on 7 channel mode and set it to dmx address 1 when i select the fixture and locate it, it should light up white but for some reason when i hit locate the numbers on the software change to say the light should be lit but the fixture dosent actually light up

can someone help me please as im now abit confused

Use a DMX Tester to check what DMX values are being sent by TitanOne. You need to check each link in the chain. Try also slowing down the DMX (instructions in the manual).
