fan function

fan function

i need help to do fan pan attribute.
I selected fixture to fan, click fan button, blue indicator light up on button, then i move my mouse to pan wheel and rotate it. Instead of pan fan effect, I getting the pan movement of last selected fixture?

Fan works on the SELECTED fixtures - hence, if for some reason you clicked somewhere else, changed any other attribute while selecting your fixtures, this would explain the problem. If you could exactly describe your steps, it would be easier to help.

However, there are several workarounds:
- select the fixtures numerically, using the keyboard. It's much more exact.
- select the fixtures nunsing groups. This is the favourite way of doing it, since this way you are sure not only the selection is correct, but also the order is right
- in some siruation it might help to double-click <ALL>, which selkects all fixtures in programmer
