Very Frustrated- Windows 8 USB Expert

Postby masoundbob » 23 Jun 2013, 16:52

After months of trying, this has gotten very frustrating and the lack of responses concerning running Titan One on Windows 8 is also disheartening.

One more time

Titan One sees the dongle but only getting a flashing Rx signal on the Dongle

Have reinstalled the software to many times to count. I have done everything on the forum to fix the issue. Nothing has worked.

Error Message: ACW Usb Service not running
have tried repairs and restarts

Device Manager: does not show windriver

Everything works properly on my XP machine

The dongle is not showing up on the list to apply it to an output.

Titan one software knows it is there because I can unplug the dongle and it will give me the message that it has been removed. It is just not showing up on the list of devices.

Please can you try the following:
  1. Open Device Manager from Control Panel.
  2. From the Action menu select Add legacy hardware.
  3. In the wizard, click Next then select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced) and click Next again.
  4. Select Avolites from the list of Common hardware types and click Next.
  5. The correct driver should be shown as just WinDriver or WinDriver Version 11.0.0.0 [18/04/2012] if there is more than one option.
  6. Click Next twice to install the driver.
  7. Restart the computer and run the TitanOne software.
