No Martin Voyager?

Postby LightC123 » 08 Apr 2013, 17:11

I can't seem to find the Martin Voyager personality, has it not been made or is it just basically a dimmer?

Well I seem to be able to have some control over it patched as a dimmer however I just thought it might have had a personality for more control, but never mind.

The only thing I can see mentioned in the Martin info is a DMX switchpack. It is not clear that this is an optional extra for that particular fixture but assuming you are only able to turn it on and off with your dimmer channel then there is not really any point in a personality. Either patch as dimmer for HTP (for example if you want it to natively respond to fader control) or as Generic LTP if you want the values to hold and not be affected by fader. If you have more than just on/off control then you could request a personality on the website. When requesting personalities it is important to provide details of (including links to sources containing) the channel mapping info.
