TITAN 1 MIDI CONTROL

Postby mac1986 » 10 Jan 2013, 15:49

Hi there,

i am looking to put the titan one in to an install in a club i am doing. i am wondering if the titan one will support a midi interface, the control interface is a AKAI MPD32. if not what other alternatives are there for control, as they do not want to keep clicking mouses or use a touch screen

thank you in advance,

T1 does not support MIDI or any other form of external input. This is only available with Avolites hardware, for example Titan Mobile or Tiger Touch. Note that if you still want to use external control on the consoles it must be via standard MIDI (not MIDI over Usb). As far as I know the Akai has both and so should work.

Is there any plan to include basic MIDI control from a midi-usb dongle.
I understand not allowing full control so as not to be able to make a 'console' but i do small amature theatre a lot and cannot currently afford to upgrade to a titan mobile.
I would be happy with just basic midi control, all i want to do is be able to send something (maybe as simple as a 'note on) to trigger the go button for cuestacks so as to have basic show control.
