Titan One does not work well with Arkaos Media Master

Hi Guys,

I continued testing the Titan One Dongle and discovered it doesn't work well over Artnet + CITP. I tested it on Arkaos Media Master 3.1 and 3.0.
When I select PATCH - ACTIVE FIXTURES, the Titan One can see AND patch the Media Master Fixtures but it does not control them. I even can't locate them.

So what I did, I did the Active Fixture Patch on the Tiger Touch, and it worked. Then I saved the showfile to a usb stick an loaded it in Titan One.... then it didn't work.

Can somebody please look at this because I bought the Titan One for demoing Media Servers and it doesn't work now :(

Hi, can you give me some information on the system you're using to run Titan One and Arkaos on? Operating System, specifications, that sort of thing?

Setup that doesn't work:

Titan One (Artnet OUT)
Macbook 13" Bootcamp
Windows 7 Enterprise
Intel(R) Core i5-2435M CPU @ 2.40Ghz
8,00 gB RAM
32 Bit

Arkaos Media Master Pro 3.1
Macbook 15" - OSX

Setup that DOES work:
Tiger Touch (Artnet Out)

Arkaos Media Master Pro 3.1
Macbook 15" - OSX

What configuration are you running Media Master Pro in? How many layers is it reporting?

Active Fixture has 12 Layers.
Running in Full 1.1
Media Master 3.1

One thing to note while we troubleshoot, twelve layers of Media Master in Full mode occupies more than one universe of DMX.

I know, but still, on the Tiger Touch it works, same show on Titan One doesn't work. Also when I start new show on Titan One, I can choose the Active fixture. It is also patched but no way to control it :(

Possibly Art-Net is not configured well in your T1. Please try the following:
- for the moment, forget about 'active fixture'
- simply start a new show, and patch some dimmer channels.
- make sure Art-Net is correctly assigned
- for a MediaMaster Full Mode layer, the dimmer is on #1, while #2 and #3 are for selecting the library and the clip. Can you operate ArKaos this way? I.e. does it react in any way?

I'll give that one a try, I already tested it with the ENTTEC USB PRO to create a DMX Input on the Media Master Pro 3.1 and I patched a normal fixture on the T1 and that works without problems :)

Thanks for the support!
