Postby aldholland » 18 Dec 2012, 21:18

Hi Guys,

just received my Titan One today and trying to install in on Win7 in VMWARE on a Macbook.

Problem, USB driver is not found, also not after complete re-install.

Where can I download the USB driver?

I'm not sure that virtual machines are supported. I would recommend using Bootcamp.

How exactly does this problem appear? Is the hardware not detected properly, or just the divers not initialized correctly? What do you see in the USb Expert console? There, can you go to the Tools menu and select Repair USb Drivers. What happesn?

I would suggest trying the steps shown here.

Also useful information for installing the Titan PC Suite can be found here.

Vmware doesn't work, bootcamp does

Postby aldholland » 19 Dec 2012, 20:27

Hi Greg,

VMWARE doesn't work with Titan One, Bootcamp does!

And... not all Windows 7 machines will work, I had one that didn't work and one that did....

For now I'm running Titan One on a Macbook 13" in Bootcamp with Windows 7 and works perfect!

Here my very first test setup.

I am afraid we are not able to test and support all hardware configurations. I am afraid VMWARE is one of them.

If you are having issues installing on a Windows 7 machine then we can look at why this might be. First make sure you have followed all the help and advice in this forum. If you still are having trouble then let us know the symptoms and we will try to help.
