Hi guys, had this problem since upgrading to 8, got it working somehow after reading through posts on here, then it failed again, then reinstalled and never worked since.
Tried again this morning with a clean installation and no joy, spent half the day reading through posts and trying stuff so nows the time to ask...
Dongle has RX light constantly flashing yellow, no TX light at all and no DMX output. USB Expert console only showed one 'Titan One DMX panel' before (didnt work then) and now it shows 2 witht he second entry 'not responding.
I have a very early dongle if that helps at all !
Thanks in advance.

Re: No DMX output, flashing yellow RX LED only
Before getting into the deeper stuff what does it look like in DMX Settings? Is an Expert DMX node assigned to a line? If not are any Expert DMX nodes available on the left-hand side? If so, try assigning it to a line.
Re: No DMX output, flashing yellow RX LED only
I have exactly the same problem: Rx light flashing, and no DMX output. Have tried it on at least two different computers, but with same result.
Firmware updated, and in USB Expert Console, I can temporarily set the dongle to Tx mode (in the DMX tab), and also get a DMX output using the test features there. However, when I start Titan One, it puts the dongle back in Rx mode...
Tried connecting the 'Expert DMX node' to 'Line 1' (whatever that means...), but still no luck.
Suggestions anyone?

Hi
I had the same trouble the other day when I grabbed my titan one as a backup "up my sleeve" solution to another desk not working.. only to discover i had to upgrade the software and the firmware to make it work.. and then i couldnt get the tx to light..
However ive discovered that when I create a new blank show, the tx will flash away as it should. however it looks like there is a bug in the menu where you select which dmx line is used in the system menu. if i unpatch universe 1, i can't make it 'tx' again.
Can anyone recreate this at Avolites?
James.

Even though I am not Avo directly, but just a distributor: yes, I can reproduce this, and will submit it to the software guys. At the moment, the workaround seems to be: after re-assigning the output, save the show, and reload the show. Now, DMX output works again.

Re-tested it. After un-assigning and then re-assigning Titan One as DMX output, it stays at Rx/yellow LED flashing. However, as soon as you then send DMX (e.g. put a dimmer at full, or whatsoever), the green LED starts to flash, Tx mode, and DMX is properly being sent. Not exactly elegant, but okay for me.
Maybe you can try this again.
