Hi guys,
I'm playing with my new Titan One since last Friday and it's a great tool, but I have some questions:
1. Visualizer Auto Patch doesn't work for non-moving fixtures, is this normal? I've added tons of ledbars and PAR64 led lights - nothing came into the visualizer. All moving heads I added, are automatically in the visualiser.
2. Since I'm using Titan One and have no phisical faders, I'm saving most of my cues and chases under playback buttons. Is there any way to create playbacks which would turn off all other active playbacks? I know I can/should use the SHOW option when creating cues which should overwrite all atributes, but there are certain situations where this doesn't work for me, e.g., I have a cue with pixel mapping effects on my ledbars, when I switch to a simple cue where everything lights up in warm-white, the mapping remains on the bars (since the second mentioned cue didn't include any pixel mapping)...
Thanks a lot!

Re: Some problems/questions
1) Auto-patch only works if vis personalities exist (and contain the appropriate reference in the Titan personality). If a vis file for a particular fixture doesn't exist you can request it via the form in the personality library section of the website. However, it is important to note that Vis cannot simulate multi-cell fixtures. This therefore includes the majority of LED bars, at least when they are in a multi-cell mode. So there is no point in requesting these. But a basic LED par is fine.
2) There's no function to do this at the moment as such but it might be useful to experiment with mode 3 cues which will crossfade out all intensities from other active playbacks which have the same or lower priority. This is only a temporary solution as killing the mode 3 cue will restore those intensities but it might be an option, depending on application. Mode is set under [Edit Times].

Thanks a lot! This has been a big help.
One more thing - can I change the Titan One language, when running on a Polish version of Windows7? I've read this topic:
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2563
but changing the location to Great Britain (Control Panel \ Clock, language, region \ Change location \ Location (second tab from the left) - sorry for the translation inconsistencies, I'm translating from Polish to English - didn't work for me.
Btw. - is it possible that the Polish distrubutor (Prolight) does not provide support on Titan One (although I bought it from them)? They claim it is "educational software" and they provide support only for the "real" consoles, just wondering if Avolites international is aware of that

Re: Some problems/questions
Not sure about language. The consoles definitely have a Polish option but I don't know how or if that is available on PC. Hopefully someone else can help.
Regarding support, your distributor is correct. See here:

Thanks!
Regarding the language - I want to switch to English from Polish, not the other way around, the translation is horrible

Re: Some problems/questions
Hi qubazo,
I am the one who wrote the TitanEnglish script you are mentioning. At least it works for me (well, there are some timing considerations, hence sometimes, if other programs slow the computer down, it may not switch correctly). Also, please make sure you run this script as Aministrator (right-click, run as...), else it definitely will NOT work.
However, you are free to contact me directly - there is a good chance we can sort this out.

Re: Some problems/questions
If the Polish translation is bad it might be useful to provide feedback, assuming it's something that could be improved?
Re: Some problems/questions
Sebastian - thank you, I'll try again and if I fail, I will contact you privately
Niclights - thank you for investigating furter. Unfortunately the translation is a complete no-go, it would take hours to write down all erros - from typos (gogos instead of gobos), to non exsisting terms - I've been working in the A/V industry for 10 years and some terms, e.g. "timecode" mustn't be translated (as "time" and "code" separately). There is much work which needs to be done to take the translation to a reasonable point and I believe that the people responsible for this v1.0 of the translation should do this job
Best,
Kuba
