You won't create a personality!!?

I am an amateur LD working with amateur theatre groups on low budgets. One of the hire companies I use is geared up specifically to supply to amateur groups...they don't have top end kit as we can't afford to hire it, so they have some Chinese lower budget stuff.

I want to use 6 such moving LEDs that the hire firm have just bought, but Avo are refusing to create a personality for the fixture. I know I can using Personality Builder but have never used it so decided to get the pros to create the personality as it'll take them very little time instead of me faffing about for days.

Avo's reasoning is that they won't support copy fixtures. So we're does this leave amateurs like myself? Unsupported because we can't afford to use Robe and Martin and Clay Paky gear!? You can fight all you like against Chinese products but they're a fact of life and unfortunately I will never be able to use to top end fixtures, so have to use them!

Help anyone?
