Wheel Mapping on Sapphire Titan

Postby Ferran » 25 Oct 2013, 15:01

Hello.
When I try to change the position attributes in Mapping Wheel, positions are not respected.
I want, for example, order attributes in MAC2000 performancer frames. Having three wheels, Frame 2 is placed on page 1 and Frame 2 Angle on page 3.
This is very annoying, it has to change page several times to adjust the same attribute.

Thank you.

Unfortunately the wheel mapping is only followed by the Diamond 4. Other Titan consoles will use the same banks but will not follow the positions or pages, therefore it will no be possible to leave gaps (empty wheels) in between attributes. This was done due to the Pearl Expert where there were only two wheels and the other consoles use the same code.

Thanks for quick response.
Pearl Expert with Touch Wing has three wheels. All Titan consoles have three wheels, if not mistaken.
I can create an "ghost" attribute for solving this?.

Thank you.

You could probably create an attribute with no channels assigned and use it as a spacer, although I have not tried this myself.

This does work. Obviously it would then mean a mess on an Expert without wing, but if it's just for you on your ST then it is an option.

Thanks for your answers.
I have an Expert and Sapphire, in Expert working of wheels with the console does not have problems, working with three wheels of the touch created these problems. I think everyone uses Expert with touch.

I will try to attribute informs phantom and if it works properly.

Thank you.

Hello, I tested "phantom" attribute, it works, I do not like.
There is no way to leave gaps in the wheels?.

Thank you.

As Gregory explained earlier this is not possible.
