Winamp Timecode

Postby mloopez11 » 12 May 2025, 00:25

Hi!
I'm currently programming a show in Titan Simulator (on Mobile), and I'm programming on a song in Winamp based on Cues in a fader. I would like to know how to do so that when clicking the Play button, all the fixtures are put in the first position that corresponds to them, even if they do not have to turn on until 1 minute. I know that there is the function called Move in Dark, but I understand that it works between cues. I'm interested when it's time to play it. Does anyone know?

Thank you very much!

In a cue list it is probably easiest to insert a cue at the beginning of your cue list that has all the fixtures in the correct positions with the timecode set to 00:00:00.00 and then only add the intensities at the 1 minute point. You can give this a cue number like 0.5 and use Record By Fixture to make it easier to bring in all the values of the fixture. Assuming you have tracking turned on values from the 0.5 cue can track into the subsequent cues. If you need to change one of these LTP values you should do so by modifying the 0.5 cue, this can be done directly with Record or you can use the Update function which will automatically look for the cue where values were originally set and modify that rather than any subsequent cue.

If you are using Timeline you can specify a preload trigger as part of the timeline either for an individual fire trigger or for multiple triggers at once.
