Plans on switching from .NET Framework to .NET core?

Postby nt2ds » 17 Apr 2023, 18:43

Are there plans on switching Titan from .NET Framework to the newer .NET core? This will allow for more platforms to be able to run Titan.

Some of the Titan applications make use of functionality that was not included in the original .NET Core. Even though some of this may now be possible in .NET 6/7 these may still not have cross platform support. There are potentially other benefits to migrating so it is not out of the question but as it might require a significant time to achieve it would need to be balanced against other work, features and bug fixes.
