building busking files

What is the best way to record intensities onto faders? I am building a basic busking file that has Spots, washes, ACL 360, and Pars and would like faders 1-4 to control intensity data only and not position data. It seems that as I busk when I go back to faders it retains the position I recorded in and I would like whatever movement I have running to override that.
