Personality builder for peal 2010

Postby Yemmy Light » 08 Apr 2018, 20:56

Hi everyone,
I use avolite personality builder to create some fixtures for my pearl 2010 but the console displays no fixture found on the USB disc. Is there a different format to creating fixtures for pearl other than titan? Please I need your contribution as am new to this console. Thanks.

The Pearl 2010 uses the older R20 format rather than the D4 format used by Titan. Files created in Personality Builder are D4 by default but you can export R20 from the File menu. Please ensure that you have set the classic pearl reference in each mode and setup the classic Pearl wheel allocations before exporting. Depending on the complexity of the file you may need to manually edit the R20 file in a text editor after exporting; details on the R20 file format can be found at the back of the manual.

Thanks Gregory , I've set modes and the pearl reference but while exporting this is the message I got. The pearl reference for the mode "EXTENDED" is invalid. Skip mode and continue. Think I'm missing something here.

In the Mode did you set the wheels for the Pearl? The should be two tabs for wheel allocations: one for Titan and one for classic Pearl. You should see all your attributes/channels on the wheels and in the Channels table. R20s do not support sub-fixture cells or virtual dimmers so these will be ignored and Compatibly Attributes will be used instead. If no attributes/channels are suitable for the R20 file or channel numbers have no been assigned you may get this error.
