Good resources for addressable led connections

So I'm trying to expand past just the basic controls and lights...Anybody have some good resources for how to wire up addressable led tape? I've done nonaddressable led with a dmx decoder, but want to do something bigger and more complex as a backdrop.... but i'm at a loss of how to control. Current setup is titan mobile with 6 Elation Pro Platinum Spots, 10 chauvet colorband pix. Thank for any help!!!
